This is where we stretch the seams of the studio.

Daisy is a coming-of-age story set in the shadows and neon of New York City. It follows Kiara, a 19-year-old fleeing a violent home, who finds herself renamed and reborn by a group of trans and queer women surviving the margins. At The Inn, a safe haven for those without one, she becomes Daisy, a name that marks not just who she could be, but who she’s becoming.

Told with grit, grace, and intimacy, Daisy explores what it means to remake yourself in a world that never handed you the tools to begin with. It’s not about being saved, it’s about learning how to survive, beautifully.

STORY POINT

MoMA PS1 Collaboration

In the summer of 2024, Recea Marin partnered with MoMA PS1 for an ephemeral installation-meets-party titled a room with no corners. A two-night experience that blurred the boundaries between club, gallery, and dreamspace.

Recea transformed one of PS1’s industrial rooms into a living sound sculpture. Entry was RSVP-only. Phones were checked at the door. Each night unfolded differently: the first, a slow-motion performance and the second, a private rave.

This was more than a set. It was a portal.
