Tucked quietly along a vine-draped slope just beyond the guest bungalows, The Wellness Village is a dedicated sanctuary designed to center calm, beauty, and breath. Created as a modern oasis within the historic grounds, the village invites guests to reconnect through intentional, sensory-led care throughout the week.

PURPOSE

The Wellness Village serves as a restorative anchor within the wedding week’s programming — offering space for guests to slow down, reflect, and indulge in tailored wellness experiences at their own pace. It’s where movement, stillness, and ceremony converge.

Features

Rotating access to private facial suites, massage tables, and hydrotherapy sessions
Guests are scheduled in small, rotating appointments with highly-trained practitioners. Each suite is scent-coded and customized by need — from brightening facials to restorative deep tissue bodywork. Hydrotherapy includes mineral foot soaks and temperature contrast baths with coastal botanicals.

Outdoor soaking tubs and indoor steam rooms carved into the hillside
A series of secluded open-air tubs overlook the grounds, surrounded by native California flora. Indoor steam rooms blend ancient rituals with subtle modern design — tiled in muted hues, infused with eucalyptus, myrrh, and pine.

Botanical-based treatment rituals
Treatments draw from coastal and African botanicals, tailored in collaboration with Black-owned herbalists and apothecaries. Guests receive custom blends that evolve throughout the week, from energizing day oils to grounding night balms.

Holistic and Traditional med-spa lounge
A sleek, low-lit space dedicated to non-invasive treatments like LED light therapy, lymphatic drainage, and personalized skin support , blending medical-grade care with a sensorial, soothing environment.

Sound bathing and morning movement space
A shaded terrace overlooking the bluff hosts daily morning sound baths, breathwork, and slow movement led by guest practitioners. These optional sessions are silent-entry, no cameras, and conclude with a scent-infused grounding ritual.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a chilled towel misted in their custom fragrance blend and a personal card outlining their selected rituals and recommendations based on their schedule and preferences.

In-room robe delivery and spa concierge
Each guest is fitted with a linen robe and sandals delivered to their bungalow the night before their appointment. Spa concierges coordinate scheduling seamlessly based on guest flow and preference.

Signature oils, teas, and hydration stations
Curated hydration stations offer herbal infusions, citrus water, and mineral blends between services. Guests can also take home a vial of their signature treatment oil.

Evening wind-down lounge
At dusk, soft lighting and quiet instrumental music fill the village. Guests are invited to wind down with warm neck towels, low-seated lounges, herbal wraps, and custom journaling kits in quiet corners of the space.

A small, tucked-away room houses the event’s full scent library — each fragrance used during the week can be explored, sampled, and requested for personalized blending.
