Verna wears an oversized draped gown constructed from just two large rectangles of fabric, cut in a structured pinstripe denim. The armholes are leather-bound in a matching deep denim blue, offering a subtle contrast in texture and tone. At the shoulder sits a dramatic sculpted chiffon bow in deep red—one of Verna’s signatures.

“When Verna visited the studio and tried the original gown, she lit up. We were deep in conversation when she spotted a roll of pinstripe denim in the corner and said, ‘That’s the one.’ Then she pointed to one of our archived bows and said, ‘Now give her some red darling, it's my signature color.’ I love when muses know exactly what they want and still leave room for collaboration. She brought this look to life.”
