Cannes Premiere

Zuri Jones attends the Franklin Street premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.

Zuri wears a strapless white gown with sculptural hip folds and a voluminous full skirt. Constructed in bonded Italian cotton shirting, the exterior is crisp and romantic—designed for shape, movement, and softness. Beneath the draped bodice sits a hand-built mesh internal corset with cotton boning channels, giving Zuri support without interrupting the silhouette’s ease.

“I was gifted ten bolts of this deadstock Italian cotton from a friend in Milan, and I knew I wanted to make something dramatic but playful from it. It holds structure beautifully, almost like paper—but feels light on the body. This was a fuller look for Zuri, a little more dainty and whimsical than we usually do, but it still moves with intention. It’s dramatic without being heavy. A dream to wear, really.”
